HEXANE

Description

Aliphatic solvents (hexane) are products obtained from the distillation of naphthas or natural gasoline.

They are separated by controlling the boiling point and then subjected to purification, neutralization, and rectification processes to refine their distillation range. These products are colorless, have a pleasant odor, and possess strong solvent power, which gives them a wide range of industrial applications.

The sale of hexane is regulated by the Subdirectorate for the Control and Oversight of Chemical Substances and Narcotics of the Ministry of Justice and Law.

Uses

Extraction of edible vegetable oils and as a raw material in the agrochemical industry.
