Description

Low-density polyethylene is a synthetic resin with a high molecular weight, obtained through the polymerization of gaseous ethylene under high pressure. It belongs to the family of thermoplastics with a branched molecular structure and a broad molecular weight distribution, characteristics that classify it as a multipurpose resin.

Uses

Resin for film extrusion and for blow molding, injection-blow, and extrusion-blow processes. It is used in the manufacture of medium-strength bags, containers for liquid medicines, and films for agricultural and construction applications. It features medium optical properties and excellent tear resistance.
